Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA)

A Pause That Feels Like Progress

Some moments call for something different. A softer landing. A space to breathe and reset. This is what MTA can feel like. You're by the ocean, where things start to feel good again.

It’s calm. It’s warm. It’s a fresh start.

More Than Safe - It Feels Good

You might be recovering, resting, or figuring out what’s next. It’s not just safe - it helps you heal in every way.

It’s going to help in your recovery. It’s going to be very therapeutic - from a mental health perspective but also from a physical health perspective.

You’re surrounded by nature, cafés, and people who say hi when they walk past you.

Our Favourite Things to Do (And Eat!) with the Kids (1:48)

Playing at local parks, building sandcastles, chasing waves with boogie boards, and making sweet memories in the kitchen. Whether it’s a beach day, a movie night, or just a quiet bubble bath, these are the little things that make this place feel like home.

Support That Actually Helps You

The goal here is that by having your support worker, you have that care coming to you, in your space. Bring your own support worker. Meet someone from here. Or do both.

We can share support. Support workers need rest too, so we’ll have our people nearby. We can help when needed.

We know that you're going to give the right care. Whether you need 24/7 support, or an overnight carer - we’re ready.

Feels Like Home, Not a Stopover

A living room with a couch and a flat screen tv.

When you walk in, it’s not just a blank table and a TV.

You have flowers, you have pictures, you have books, you have games - you have everything you need in the apartment to make you feel like you're at home and not just in a hotel room.

Everything’s already set up. Or you can bring your own things too - whatever makes you feel good.

You don’t have to clean the place top to bottom when you leave. Just take your stuff. And if you forget anything, we’ll get it back to you.

Ocean Living Makes Life Better

Being by the water just hits different. You move more. Sleep better. Breathe easier. Just being out there is therapeutic. Not just physically, but mentally as well.

You don’t need binoculars to enjoy the wildlife. That’s how clearly you can see the dolphins and whales breaching.

Stay a While, Or Just Long Enough

MTA us here to help people who need time - a place between hospital and home, or before something longer term.

If things go well and you want to stay longer, we’ll work with you and your team to make that happen.

It takes time to match you with the right support, to make sure you’re getting the right apartment that suits your needs. And we’re not in a rush. We want to do this right.

Everything’s Close (Like, Really Close)

You’ve got the IGA that’s only a hundred metres down the road. You’ve got the Coles that’s also just down the road.

Cronulla Mall is nearby. So is the train station. You’ve got ferries at Gymea Bay and Westfield Miranda not far off.

While you’re walking from where the apartments are located, you’ll go past Shelley Park, which has beautiful cafés, playgrounds, and the rock pools.

A kitchen with a stove , refrigerator , washer and dryer

Thoughtful Touches Make a Big Difference

You get all the details about the place in a little folder. There is a little welcome book with info about local restaurants and everything else. You’ll have everything you need - Wi-Fi, games, comfort.

You can bring your own small furniture. You can bring your own comfort items - whatever makes you feel more at home and more comfortable.

It’s already set up so that you could walk in and feel at home.

When You’re Between Places

Maybe you’re not sure what comes next. Or maybe you just need a break from the noise. This could be your in-between - with heart.

You’re not just staying somewhere. You’re living, even if it’s temporary. This is an opportunity to say, well, and live by the ocean.
